Merry Christmas!!

We had such an amazing Christmas this year.  Emma has brought such a sweet presence into our home and it has made everything that much more special.  We are so very grateful to be so blessed with such a wonderful little family and faith in a Savior that has and continues to do so much for us.

Celebrations this year were a lot more low-key with me recovering from my surgery and having a newborn baby at home.  Shauna came and took the older three kiddos on Christmas Eve so Bill and I could have some downtime.  We met up with everyone for the annual Knowlton Christmas Eve party that evening at Birkhill. There was plenty of yummy food as per usual, the company was great, and the cousin gift exchange was a success!

We had a white Christmas.  It was absolutely beautiful!!  Christmas day the kids awoke to all their dreams coming true.  Santa didn't disappoint.  Favorites included an iPad mini and walkie talkies for Will, a barbie dream house for the the girls and a microphone that has provided endless entertainment.  Lucy got a cash register and grocery shopping cart that she doesn't stop playing with.

Later that day we headed over to Papa and GGs for dinner.  The kids got to open their presents there - Liv got "Isabelle" an American Girl doll, Lucy got a bean bag and Will got a head lamp and headphones.  They were super excited!
