Wills 6th bday!

I can't believe this boy is 6!  We are so incredibly proud of him and who is becoming.  He is sincerely one of the most kid, generous, loving, smart and outgoing kids I know.  We celebrated his big day with breakfast at McDonalds and then a birthday party with all of his friends at Airborne, followed by pizza and cake.  He's had so much fun playing all weekend with his presents - lots of legos and "all boy" things.  Love this little one to pieces!

His special bday gift from his teacher, Mrs. Wirick.

Lucy "isms"

Lucy has the funniest personality.

She won't go anywhere without all her babies!  She also loves to carry around blankets, jackets, whatever she can find!

She loves Papa and GG's house and loves hanging out with her big sis…Hope this never ever changes!!

She gets so sad when the kids leave to go to school.  She'll stand by the door and say, "I go I go!!"

and she loves wearing all sorts of hats backwards on her head - couldn't even get it off her for church last Sunday.

Daddy-daughter date night

These two princesses got to go on a special "daddy-daughter" date night to the Frozen sing-along movie.  They were counting down the minutes until daddy picked them up!  Pretty sure there will be a lot more of these in the future!

First day of Pre-K for Liv

This little gal was beyond thrilled to start Pre-K at Learning Dynamics today.  She loves school!  She has Mrs. Covington this year for a teacher and has one of her best friends, Halle Sheffield, in her class.  She had a great first day and says she wishes she could go to school everyday - so does Mom :)

First day of 1st grade for Will

This handsome dude started 1st grade today!  He wasn't the least bit nervous, but instead so excited.  It was raining like crazy when I dropped him off and I asked him if he'd like me to walk him inside…his reply, "Mom, I got this!"  His teacher is Mrs. Wirick and he already has two friends in his class, Mason and Caden Long.  So proud of this boy and the person he is becoming!

I dropped him off with a huge smile and he had an even bigger smile when I picked him up. I asked him how first grade was and he said, "Awesome!" His favorite parts included eating in the cafeteria, playing on the big kids playground and meeting a lot of new friends!  Here's to a great year ahead!
