Spring Has Sprung

The grass is getting greener and the days are getting warmer...spring is upon us...hooray!!

We've already had a couple BBQs at GG and Papa's

We introduced the kids to the Draper park, which was so fun!  And it just happened to be so windy that it made for a perfect kite flying day!

The last couple weeks have been absolutely crazy!!  After babysitting, we were home for a couple days, and then Bill and I were off to Las Vegas for work.  I started working the Buying Summit events this month, and hope to do it every month to bring in a little extra income.  I wouldn't go as far as saying that I enjoy it...it's really long hours, and most of it is basically "gopher" work.  However, the company's crew was exceptionally friendly, and it will be nice to have a little buffer on the money side.  Bill was down there with me, which was nice, even though I really only saw him at bedtime.

In other news, Will earned his alphabet crown at preschool today and was so excited!  I'm so proud of him...I know he's worked so hard to earn it.  He is so funny.  Some of the latest Will-isms..."This is delicious!, Hot dog!, (need to remember the rest)."

Also, I got called to be the second counselor in the Relief Society Presidency, which I am thrilled about!  I haven't worked a lot in the Relief Society, and I know it will be a great experience!

We have been staying with our nieces and nephews this week babysitting them while their parents are on a cruise.  It's been a lot of fun, and my kids have been loving every minute since they look up to they're cousins so much and just think the world of them.  Their cousins are so good to Will and Olivia as well, and so that makes it extra nice!  The weather has been beautiful, and so we've been taking full advantage and playing outside every day!  Pictures to come - we're only half way into the week!  Wish me luck with 6 kids - baptism by fire!
All tuckered out from all that play!

Draper Temple

I went to the Draper Temple today by myself to do initiatories.  I had never been to this Temple before.  It is quaint and gorgeous.  I went in the afternoon, and so there weren't a lot of people there, which made it extra nice.  It was also another first for me to go all by myself.  It was such a neat experience though, and I'm so glad I had the opportunity to go!

Will's First Day of skiing

We took Will up to Alta for his first run at skiing.  Bill and I went up with the sole intention of having a ton of fun, whether we skied only one run or a ton.  We ended up having such a fun day!  We stayed on the bunny hill the entire time, but I think Will got really comfortable walking in his boots and skis.  I was so impressed with how fearless he was.  It was so much fun, and I can't wait until he gets even better so we can hit the slopes together.
