We had a wonderful Thanksgiving day. We started off with the Mesa Turkey Trot 10k, then a nice rest, and then a yummy dinner with the grandparents. I failed to get a lot of pictures, but here are the couple we took at the turkey trot...
I was happy with my results...

Life has been a bit chaotic for us over the past month. Recently, Bill obtained a new job in Utah. He is thrilled about the amazing job opportunity, but we are so sad to leave our Arizona home and our Arizona family. It's definitely bittersweet. Utah is our home, and it always has been so it will be great to return "home." It will be so great to have family near and to enjoy all of the great things Utah has to offer. However, we will really miss all of the wonderful things about our AZ home, especially our amazing friends.
I have been primary president for a while now, and have loved every minute. I feel like I am just now getting into the groove, which is probably why Heavenly Father decided to change things up. I have had the opportunity to work with such amazing people in this calling, but especially my amazing counselors/best friends, Amy and Tasha. These women have had such a positive impact on my life, and I know we will continue to be friends forever regardless how much distance we have between us. I am so grateful to have had this opportunity and will miss it greatly!

Olivia is at such a fun age. She's really starting to communicate - saying so many more words, pointing to what she wants, and nodding her head up and down when you ask her if she wants something. She is such a fun little girl. It's so fun to see her personality develop!
We attended the Time Out for Women 2011 event here in Phoenix this past weekend. We started off the weekend with pedicures on Friday afternoon, which felt amazing. Then, it was off to check in at the hotel downtown, and grab some dinner at Sam's Cafe. The first session of the event took place on Friday evening and included speakers such as, Laurel Christensen and Brad Wilcox. After the session, we got some ice cream and headed back to the hotel for games. We played the "favorites" game and chatted until the wee hours. On Saturday, we started off with breakfast at Corner Bakery, and then on to the convention center for Saturday's sessions, which included Hilary Weeks, Mary Ellen Edmunds, Matthew Baldwin, Kris Belcher, D. Kelly Ogden, Linda J. Eyre and Shawni Eyre Pothier.
It was such a good time. The group of ladies I went with are all amazing, and it felt so good to have a small break knowing that my amazing husband was keeping the homestead going.
