William turns 2!

Our sweet "baby" boy turns two today!! Words cannot express how much joy this little (although he's not so little anymore) guy brings to our life. We love him so much!! He has progressed so much over the last year. He is now able to talk in full sentences, he prays, he counts to ten, is beginning to recognize the alphabet, colors, and shapes, and is really starting to enjoy and take interest in certain things (aka his obsession with trains and other toys!) He is beginning to develop really good relationships with his family and friends. Will is such a fun-loving boy, and not a day goes by that he doesn't make us smile! Love you Will and Happy Birthday!!

We had a birthday party for him with all of his friends. It was a big hit...he had a blast!! It was Thomas the train themed (big surprise) and took place at our neighborhood pool. We had a light BBQ, cake and ice cream. All of his favorite people (besides the Knowlton family) came.

7 Years and Counting

Shortly after our new little one arrived, Bill and I celebrated our 7 year anniversary on August 7th!! With having a one week old, the highlights of our celebration included a good afternoon nap and takeout from Carraba's while watching Shrek 2! However, I must say that while it may sound like a lame anniversary celebration, I was so grateful to be able to celebrate it low-key with my little family. I can't believe it has been so long since we met at the University of Utah and had such an amazing courtship. We have accomplished so much since then, and we are on our way to fulfill our lifelong goals. I was just thinking the other day about how having two kids is so much more chaotic, but in a good way. There is honestly nothing more fulfilling in life than raising a family. I love my family so much, and I'm so grateful that Bill and I found each other!

We welcomed our beautiful sweet little angel into the world on Friday, July 30th. She was born at 2:22 pm, weighed 6 lbs 9 oz and was 19.2 inches long. Everything with the birth and the hospital stay went perfectly...we couldn't have asked for a better experience!
