We experimented with finger painting at a neighbor's house today. We didn't use regular finger paint, but instead pudding + food coloring. This way it was not only fun to paint, but a yummy treat for the little ones who like to put everything in their mouths! It was a big hit!
We spent the Martin Luther King Holiday weekend in Disneyland with another great family, the Elrod's (Lauren Elrod is a fellow associate of Bill's, her husband, Jason, and their 3 yr. old Noelle). We arrived on Thursday night, and left Monday morning. We stayed at the Grand Californian Resort. It was a blast, and Will enjoyed every minute of it...especially the rides, "It's A Small World" and "Buzz Light Year." He also loved meeting the characters, particularly Mickey Mouse. He was so fascinated with everything. We did EVERYTHING there was to do in the Disneyland and California Adventure parks! There were some definite perks to staying at a Disneyland resort besides the amazing accomodations...getting into the park early, having private opportunities to meet the characters, being one door away from the parks, etc.. The food wasn't fabulous, but the treats definitely were...we fully enjoyed everything from churros to kettle corn to the world's best fudge. Will was such a trooper, and did phenomenal considering how much we pushed him on this trip. It was worth every second, and most of all it was so fun to spend time together!! This trip definitely goes in the top five! Disneyland truly is the "Happiest Place on Earth."
We had really long days playing in Disneyland, and WIll got pretty tuckered out.
