Never a dull moment with these two...

Lucy has mastered the word, "cheese," and she tries so hard to pose like Olivia.  Sometimes I wish they would just smile and call it good, but that's so not their style.

Merry Christmas!!

We had such an amazing Christmas this year.  Emma has brought such a sweet presence into our home and it has made everything that much more special.  We are so very grateful to be so blessed with such a wonderful little family and faith in a Savior that has and continues to do so much for us.

Celebrations this year were a lot more low-key with me recovering from my surgery and having a newborn baby at home.  Shauna came and took the older three kiddos on Christmas Eve so Bill and I could have some downtime.  We met up with everyone for the annual Knowlton Christmas Eve party that evening at Birkhill. There was plenty of yummy food as per usual, the company was great, and the cousin gift exchange was a success!

We had a white Christmas.  It was absolutely beautiful!!  Christmas day the kids awoke to all their dreams coming true.  Santa didn't disappoint.  Favorites included an iPad mini and walkie talkies for Will, a barbie dream house for the the girls and a microphone that has provided endless entertainment.  Lucy got a cash register and grocery shopping cart that she doesn't stop playing with.

Later that day we headed over to Papa and GGs for dinner.  The kids got to open their presents there - Liv got "Isabelle" an American Girl doll, Lucy got a bean bag and Will got a head lamp and headphones.  They were super excited!

Emma Claire

Our sweet baby Emma Claire was born on December 19th at 7:59AM at the IHC Hospital in Murray, UT.  Dr. Froerer with Cottonwood OB performed the C-section and everything went perfectly!  Emma was perfect in every way!  So grateful and blessed to have her here!  She weighed 6lbs 12oz and was 21 inches long.

Embroidered onesies

My good friend, Tasha, made these for baby Emma and I'm so in love with them.  Can't wait to put them on her!

Christmas PJs

Will had a pajama and crazy hair day at school today so it was only appropriate that our elf brought the kiddos new Christmas jammies.

The Nutcracker

I have anticipated the yearly tradition of taking my girls to see the Nutcracker at Christmastime ever since I found out I was having a girl.  It was always a tradition for me growing up and I love being able to have the same tradition with my girls.  I didn't know how Olivia would do or if she would even like it, but she LOVED it.  We went with our good friends, Tasha and Kelle Bradford.  The Nutcracker was put on by the "Utah Regional Ballet" at the Covey Center for the Arts in Provo.  It was really impressive.  Such a good time and so glad we went!  Of course, we had to take home a souvenir Nutcracker!

Learning Dynamics Preschool Christmas Program

Olivia had her Learning Dynamics preschool Christmas program today.  She did an awesome job and was beyond adorable.  She had a part in the program and said it perfectly!  So proud of this little preschooler!
